as Aaron Stark
Born in Ireland in 1967, O'Byrne has appeared in television shows, feature films and on stage. He has acted in several theatre productions, including Doubt, The Beauty Queen of Leenane and Frozen, for which he won a Tony Award. He has guest starred on several TV series, including Oz, Law & Order: SVU, The American Experience and The Brotherhood. O'Byrne has also had supporting roles in several movies, including The International, No Reservations, Bandits and Million Dollar Baby.
In FlashForward, O'Byrne plays Aaron Stark, an employee of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. A former alcoholic who sponsors Mark Benford at AA, Stark has experienced many trajedies in his life, including a divorce, a prison stint and the death of his only daughter, Tracy, who was killed in Afganistan. Stark is a good friend of Benford and experiences a flashforward that may bring his greatest wishes back to life.
